Air Barrier Testing (ASTM E1827)
We provide air barrier leakage testing to meet ASTM E1827 (Standard Test Methods for Determining Airtightness of Buildings Using an Orifice Blower Door) or ASTM E779 requirements. We have tested thousands of structures for air leakage and our technicians offer the experience and knowledge necessary to help you through the testing process.
During the air leakage testing process an infrared camera will be used to identify air leakage sites. The thermal envelope may be assessed, following ASTM C1060 (Thermographic Inspection of Insulation Installations in Envelope Cavities of Frame Buildings).
